Our hotel is in line with the fresh and modern Holiday Inn Express Generation 4 Hotels and we are a fairly new hotel, only opening in July of 2016. Every one of our bedrooms and meeting facilities are designed with you in mind, all of our public areas are very bright, spacious and have all the mod cons you could ever need.
We are a reasonably small team with our General Manager, Will Glenn at the helm and a fantastic group of Guest Service team members to ensure there is always a friendly face to greet you and give you a warm welcome to the hotel.
No matter what time of the day it may be, we can provide you with a meal or tasty snack to keep you fuelled, we also have great coffee to satisfy your caffeine needs. There is a well-stocked bar for any impromptu social gatherings you may have, or for a relaxing drink after a day in our meeting room. Our dining areas and bar are filled with very contemporary furnishings for your comfort, as well as having plenty of sockets and USB ports for all your IT needs.
Fully air conditioned and flooded with great natural light, we like to think of these areas as a little oasis to bring your laptop and get productive.
Our hotel has 96 bedrooms in total, with a mixture of double, twin and accessible double rooms. All of the rooms are simple, smart and spot on with the times, containing many modern features including bedside USB ports and Smart TV’s. We love our bedrooms and take pride in the fact that they have been designed to a very high standard.
Our boardroom can accommodate up to 14 delegates and we are happy to provide refreshments and a choice of buffet lunch on request. Our Colne meeting room is ideal for more formal meetings and events. The room gets lots of sunlight and is fully air-conditioned, so you’ll be sure your associates will be comfortable all day long. Our conference spaces are available 7 days a week and also in the evenings, so whatever you’re needs, we can cater to them. All meeting rooms include; blackout facilities, adjustable lighting, a 60” TV, flip chart, complimentary WiFi, complimentary mineral water and free parking.
We’re ideally situated just 15 minutes away from St Albans city centre. St Albans train station also has trains direct to London and it’s just a short trip to the bustling city. Our wonderful team members are also on hand to give their recommendation of things you should do and see while you’re in the area (including Harry Potter World!).
